Hi Juan – I was curious how someone can get paid to live in a house. Also – I love how engaged you are in this group. You are very inspiring. 🙂 Hope you have a great day.

      • Yes, I thought it was nuts but there are certain cities where they try to develop neighborhoods.

In this instance, the person wanted a certain house and they couldn’t afford it. They keep saying they needed “xxxx” money but never even did the due diligence to find out how much.

When they finally decided to do something about it, they found out the bank was helping developing a certain area of town.

They were willing to provide the loan for a home, with no money down, and they were also going to give them a stipend to help improve the home. All they had to do was live in the home for 5 years.

Thus, they got a home and got paid to live in it.

        • That’s cool – that never occurred to me. Thanks for answering my question! 😀

          • The insight from the lesson revolves around the idea of needing money.

The core believe is “I can’t have X because I don’t have the money, thus, I need money.”

The truth is I don’t need any money because I haven’t even decided I want X.

Once the I decide I want X, the question becomes “how do I obtain X?”

Evidently, one of the ways is to pay for it. But, that’s not the only option.

You can steal, borrow, barter/trade, etc.

The brain and the universe don’t do any work to make it happen until I decide and commit to obtaining X.

“I need money to have X” turns out to be a mental cop-out to hide the fact that I don’t truly want what I claim I need the money for.
