      So grateful to be in Hawaii more as of 3/2020 (moved from SF after 25+ years) and surfing lots more!! Surfing is such a metaphor for life — being fully present with the elements, seeing what's on the horizon, rolling with whatever comes, going for it, relaxing back, sheer joy of the ride, practicing and preparing, just getting out there, being in community, and so much more! Truly, any act can be a sacred ritual and learning lesson of life 🙂
