Flirting like crazy with all the ideas this week. So far I’ve (nearly) declared myself in for

– creating a new Little Peace of Mind offering for kids and parents – set up meetings to discuss training – turns out this is a safe option, he brushes his teeth and he makes quite nice conversation and I guess we could go out again but he doesn’t light me up or turn me on.

– growing The Floral Project (born in the last CTI) from 1900 to 10,000 members all signed up before the end of CTI to commit to doing a #100posy challenge and so between us all giving away a million bouquets in 2021. Feels like the kind of guy I used to date in my old life.

– creating a 1/4 acre flower farm in my garden – have arranged a horsebox by the local pub I could sell from, just so happened to have started a flower farming course on the same day as CTI and flowers DEFINITELY light me up. But he’s skint and I know I’d be paying for dinner every time as he has zero funds or financial prospects. (Mind you, I have had the same thought about every other CTI and he’s always ended up rolling in money – he just hides it well at the start to see if I’m really into him or just into him for his wallet.)

– creating a ‘proper’ 3 acre flower farm – on my dog walk I have walked past the same abandoned plant nursery with polytunnels and workshop space etc for years and it just so happens my neighbour knows all about properly development, has done some sleuthing and it may well be available. This one’s way out of my league. He dates the really pretty girls who are far more funny and knowledgeable than me. “Everyone” says start small if you want to eventually date one of these high fliers but he keeps me up all night thinking about him….wouldn’t it be cool if…..maybe one day….’ He is a party boy but also skint and I know I’d be paying for dinner every time as he has zero funds or financial prospects. In fact he’d probably bankrupt me.

– creating a beautiful flower-filled garden. Just for me. Absolutely impossible – what’s the point in having a boyfriend if you can’t show him off? This one would be a ‘personal development’ challenge – really Nic, what if you weren’t such a show-off? what does it say about you if you are? perhaps you should choose this one just to show you’re not as shallow as you really are – etc etc – which means it’s off the table for CTI too because CTI isn’t really about me, it’s about creating a thing. This one has potential as a simple, quiet lovely date, but not really impossible to ‘do the thing’.

– to take the Floral Project into schools and send all the kids sweetpea seeds, show them how to grow and nurture them and then ask them to find someone in their local community to give the flowers away to. This one is CUTE and keeps catching my eye but I notice it’s the only one I haven’t taken steps to flirt with yet. I’m just oggling him from afar.

– creating five Nic’s so I can do ALL the projects (on top of the 2 full time jobs plus homeschooling etc etc I already have). Really – there are just too many fun things to do in life – how is one supposed to choose between all the impossible possibilities?

Hmmmmmm – a few more days before decision time………..
