• Hi everyone,

I had a wonderful experience a couple of days ago I’d like to share.

I have a client I’ve been working with for a few months. She has been seeing different psychiatrists for 20 years and has been on meds. The one she’s seeing currently asked if I’d be willing to have a conversation with him and work with him on this “patient.” I agreed to the conversation.

I patiently listened to him tell me all the diagnoses – some of which I’ve never heard of – and the things that needed to be fixed regarding this young lady. He finally stopped to ask me what I thought. I just said a couple of things such as where I see her improving and don’t see what’s “wrong” with her – I see what’s “right” with her. He liked that but went onto many “buts” about her with his focus again on all that’s wrong. I kindly told him our approaches are different and that’s just fine, but I couldn’t see a way we can work together consistently. He thanked me for the time.

I hung up feeling wonderful because without judgement I felt his nervousness and jumpiness coming from what felt like a whole lotta fear and a whole whole whole lotta thinking. No space, no fun, no what I now find to be the simplicity of unexpected genius. I found myself able to speak from calm, confidence and clarity emanating from a groundedness of love and wisdom. I’ve been on a spiritual path for 30 years having studied many teachings and worked with some great teachers, but Michael yours has absolutely been divinely orchestrated as the icing on the cake. I’m truly grateful for all of it.

This young lady told me after our first session she got more out of that 1 session than she’s gotten out of working with very expensive Dr.’s for 30 years. Nice to hear. Although she still has times she doesn’t make the best choices for herself, her awareness of her innate loving, beautiful genius is growing greater and greater. She can hardly wait for our weekly sessions. Her excitement is so much fun!

      Again, so good, so grateful.
