• I decided I want more of this kind of thinking so I have signed up for the Advanced course which is running in May. The idea that it will only run then prompted me to press the button.

I have very much enjoyed being in conversation about this rather than sitting doing a course that teaches set information for you to interact with, in a prescribed way. That didn’t work when I was assisting special needs children in primary schools and I was good at my job because I thought outside the box.

It’s making me wonder about how I would like to teach courses/programs in the future. Certainly, my one to one work is this style already. The soul circles have a framework for the group sessions, but I choose to be in the moment and allow wisdom to come through for guided meditations etc. But when I was considering creating a program as part of my CTI, I was thinking of worksheets and videos and tutorials with PowerPoint slides.

I’m noticing all the thinking I have around learning, changing.

I have done a lot of learning academic to PhD and beyond. But even now I notice the insights and revelations came when they came, not necessarily because I was in a linear learning process.

I do love this conversation even if most of it is with myself in my head!

      • Oh, Lesley, so lovely to read your lines and how you enjoy this conversation! It definitely has inspired me and brought me so much more stability in my life, when I was used to thinking ‘I AM the rollercoaster, instead of noticing that my thoughts are taking me for a ride’!

        • Perfect Marion, “My thoughts are taking me for a ride!”, I think I might just get my daughter to make me a t-shirt with that on 🤣
