Hi dears! Got the first choir to take part in the Malala Project!!! Yeah! This choir is in Cape Town, South Africa. Spoke to the lovely choir leader, Christine.

I think one of the funnest things with projects is that we get to meet so many inspiring and lovely people along the way!!

On my list today: Sending emails around to different choirs. Due to the Covid19 regulations I will probably need funding, as we need to probably pre-record each singer and then make it into a ‘Children’s Choir of the World’ – this thought really touches me and I think that’s what I am looking for. Children of the World.

A friend sent me a list of funding organisation, some of which I can contact today.

Also want to comment, that I LOVE the ‘DONE-LIST’. Gives so much momentum. Here below the nicely made up file by my friend Laurel Marx about the project at the moment… will adapt it as soon as I have more choirs and more news.

Today’s activity will include contacting a wonderful manager in London with great ideas. My own agent. Am secretly hoping to get the BBC involved, that would just be OVER-THE-TOP-AWESOME.

And another choir in Israel, and look for more choirs. I think for now 5-6 choirs will be enough for this performance, as we have to record each person and then edit it into one thing. Not sure, how it will be. Yesterday spoke to Gondwana Choirs in Australia and they sing live again. Hope they will also participate. Haven’t been able to reach the right person. But will keep calling them! Really want them to be on this project.

BTW yesterday had a doom-day – low mood, so Michael your thought of the day was so helpful to not pay attention to my thinking! It’s hard, I can really start believing this stuff!! haha

      • It’s real! It’s just getting more and more solid with time. I wonder when we reach the tipping point and go from impossible to possible? ❤ So pleased to see this update and also how your day and your mood were not actually tied inextricably together.

        • Thank you so much, Lesley, for your words. Your support is really wonderful. I see you are supporting this entire group with your wonderful energy! Beautiful! ❤
