• Sometimes the goal you see ahead, like the top of this hill on Dartmoor yesterday isn’t the end, a new path becomes visible. One that leads to unexpected delights like waterfalls!

This is my first CTI, of many, I think! I completely understand why we have a cohort of people returning year after year. The old guard provided an initial framework of trust for me when we began.

My CTI was just a way of having something to work on using this new way of looking at goals and working towards them. I arbitrarily chose the number so it became impossible and measurable. Working on the project has made me realise I want something more than arbitrary results. Yes, I can have 100 ticks on my sheet of graph paper for helping women with breast cancer. What’s opened up for me is the desire to make it meaningful. I am expanding my project. There I declared it!

I am still riding the wave in the breast cancer support groups, helping where I can with my unique perspective. I never know what will come up or how I will help so it’s very playful. However, there are clear patterns and needs emerging. I will create resources to help meet those so that I don’t get bored answering the same thing over and over.

The other thing that has emerged is something unexpected. I have to thank all the compliments in this group and from my friends and family for this. Apparently, it’s not just women with breast cancer who enjoy what I have to say, my take on life and how I express myself in words! So I am glad I decided to blog and create a podcast, I will add to that and stop cringing.

I’m very grateful to @michael-neill for paying a coach to tell him to write his own way so that he could share that advice with us. I don’t know how to write, I don’t have a writing schedule and that’s just right for me! I will write and speak and continue to enjoy this fabulous life I wake up to each day.

Wishing all who are celebrating, a Happy Easter, and happy days to those who are just enjoying life as it unfolds. A 4 day weekend here and the sun is shining, bliss!
