At Genius Catalyst Inc., we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
This policy applies to the Genius Catalyst Cafe website (geniuscatalystcafe.com), the Digital Michael AI service, the Caffeine for Soul app, and any related services we provide.
1. Who We Are
Genius Catalyst Inc.

Genius Catalyst Inc. is the data controller for your personal data. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at the address above.
2. What Data We Collect and Why
2.1 Account Registration
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored in encrypted form). We use this to give you access to our services, manage your purchases, and communicate with you about your account.
2.2 Purchases & Payments
When you make a purchase, we collect your name, email address, and billing address. Payment card details are processed directly and securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. We receive a payment confirmation and a partial card reference from Stripe for order records.
We use WooCommerce to manage our shop and order history.
2.3 Digital Michael Conversations
When you use Digital Michael, your conversation messages are processed to generate AI responses. Each conversation is kept separate and private — no one at Genius Catalyst Inc. reads your conversations as a matter of course.
Your conversation data is stored securely and used only to enable the service to respond to you. It is not used to train unrelated AI systems, sold to third parties, or used for advertising purposes.
Please be mindful that no digital system is completely risk-free, and you share information at your own discretion. We recommend not sharing information you would not want stored on a third-party server.
2.4 Courses & Programmes (LearnDash)
When you enrol in an online programme or course, we record your enrolment, progress, and completion status. This allows us to give you access to the content you have purchased and to track your progress.
2.5 Subscriptions
If you take out a subscription, we store your subscription status, billing dates, and renewal history alongside your account. Recurring payments are handled by Stripe.
2.6 Contact Forms & Support
When you contact us via a form or by email, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.
2.7 The Caffeine for Soul App
The Caffeine for Soul app is available on iOS and Android. Data collected through the app is subject to the privacy practices of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store respectively, in addition to this policy. Please review their privacy policies for more information.
2.8 Website Usage & Analytics
We collect standard website usage data — such as pages visited, time spent on site, and general location (country/region) — to understand how people use our site and improve it. This data is aggregated and anonymised where possible. We may use tools such as Google Analytics for this purpose.
2.9 Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and support website functionality. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics. You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie banner on our site or through your browser settings.
Third-party services we use (such as Stripe, YouTube embeds, and analytics tools) may also set their own cookies. We have no control over these.
