Have you ever wondered why we don’t all have the same things on our “Avoiding Doing” list?
Some people find it easy enough to write a book but just can’t bring themselves to book a restaurant; others will do anything to avoid cleaning their home while still others will clean their home to avoid doing other things.
The answer, as best I can tell, is that it’s a profoundly unhelpful question.
The very act of trying to understand, explain, justify, or come up with a plausible story for why you’ve been avoiding things is in fact the most effective way ever invented of continuing to avoid them.
So instead of spending the next seven years trying to wade through the morass of your own psychology, why not take the rest of today getting stuff off your list and into the world?
With all my love,
